Sponsorship to Police Academy

We are excited to offer this “sponsorship program” once again. This is an opportunity for civilians to get hired by the Victoria Police Department and attend the Victoria College Police Academy as a cadet. The cadet, as a City of Victoria employee will receive pay and benefits while attending the academy. Upon graduation from the academy and ultimately passing the state licensing exam, the cadet will return to the Victoria Police Department where they will continue their education and training as an officer while participating in the field training program.
