NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Notice of Public Hearings regarding requests for the Annexation of the following properties:

  1. Approximately 9.309 acres of land, located east of US Highway 87 N, near the northwest edge of the City of Victoria, owned by Golden Crescent Holdings, LLC.
  2. Approximately 2.747 acres of land, located east of US Highway 87 N, near the northwest edge of the City of Victoria, owned by Ben Streiff, Paige Streiff, Bruce Jank, and Darla Fox.
PURPOSE:Public Hearings will be held, at which all persons interested in the proposed annexations will be given an opportunity to be heard, at the dates and times shown in this notice.

WHEN:During the Regular City Council meetings to be held at 5:00 PM, July 20, 2021 and August 3, 2021

Details of the proposed annexations, including the proposed service plan, may be obtained from the City of Victoria Development Services Department Office, 700 Main Center, Suite 129, Victoria, Texas, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM or you may call (361) 485-3360 for additional information. Details of the annexations may also be accessed on the City of Victoria’s internet website at www.victoriatx.gov after July 16.

Notice of intent to demolish A historic structure

As per Section 5-5, shall apply to any structure located within the City of Victoria recorded as Texas Historical landmark, or listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This section shall also apply to any property located within a district designated as historic by the City of Victoria and/or a structure constructed prior to 1950 as reported by the Victoria Central Appraisal District or included in the Historical Resource Survey of Victoria, Texas.

1408 N. DeLeon Street - Built in 1930 - Designated as a Medium Historic Preservation Priority by the Victoria Historic Preservation.

1803 N. Wheeler Street - Built in 1949

1505 N. Main Street - Built in 1921 - Designated as a Medium Historic Preservation Priority by the Victoria Historic Preservation.
